Meet Vinnie & Mr Socks

A picture book about love and resilience set on a farm with an emphasis on the great outdoors. I wrote the first draft of this — I’m calling it The Tree that Cracked — in a couple of hours and then spent 6 months working on another 5 drafts. I’ve now begun work on it with my great mentor, picture book writer extraordinaire Claire Saxby. The plan is to take it to CYA conference and workshop it and another story, Head in the Clouds at one of their bootcamps.
