Science book concept

An idea for a life science book jacket. I have a few thoughts on a science series. I may do a few more just for my own satisfaction. I quite like this piece. It is actually the fastest traditional illustration I’ve ever done, taking me only 3 days. Admittedly I had been sitting on the idea for a couple of weeks but I’m happy enough with the end result, especially given the speed. I may rework this with a higher degree of finish down the line.
