The first time I’ve entered an illustration competition. This one was for the CYA annual illustration comp in July 2023 as part of the conference. It didn’t win or anything but the best thing about participating is the idea it’s given me for a middlegrade book. Not sure if I’ll have the chance to develop it but it is fun to dream!
