Another look at my labour of love, Perhaps, a picture book utilising Rawlsian metaphor on the subject of justice and equality to help tell a story. This book has been through two acquisition processes at two different publishers and was selected for the DPictus Unpublished Manuscript Competition (one of only three from Australia) but unfortunately still remains unpublished. Even though it’s been through multiple professional editing processes as a couple of writers’ workshops I think I need to rework a couple of passages and redo some of the illustrations. I have some new ideas for it I’d like to try as well as some new painting techniques. But it’ll have to wait while I work on three of my other books, Tree that Cracked, Head in the Clouds, and The Story (book).
