Part of my architectural abstract series. Several pieces in this series also respond to ideas in science and history. Perhaps few are as apocryphal as Galileo as whispering under his breath “And yet it moves” (Eppur si muove) whilst taking the knee to recant his statements about the solar system and Earth’s place in it. Other components of the idea include the use of astrological arrangements of stars showing another way older ways of understanding butted up against science. I also framed the whole composition as if it were film frames in a moving image.
