Part of my architectural abstract series. A friend of mine had rather aggressively pruned a lemon tree in their back yard and a spider had taken up residence to join the branches together with its own architectural design. As with a number of my pieces the mathematical and aesthetic relationships between points in the space occupied by the tree interested me. The technical components of printing here that were most difficult to get right were the consistency of the dark grid and the fine quality of the projecting lines.
